Information and purpose

When you contact us, we receive your name, email address, optional company name, inquiry type and message. We use these details to respond and discuss possible work. We do not sell inquiry information or subscribe you to marketing. Please do not send medical records, payment details or confidential technical documents through the form.

Website and email

Technical information, including IP addresses and request or delivery details, is processed to operate and protect the website and email services. Our website server is in Montreal. Inquiries sent to info@taitlabs.com are forwarded to the company account used to handle them; copies are held in desktop email and recovery backups. Access is limited to those who need it for these purposes, including service providers supporting our systems. Other websites have their own privacy practices.

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand website traffic, including pages viewed, visits, referral sources, approximate location and browser or device information. Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish browsers and sessions. Google processes this information and may process it outside Canada. Analytics loads when you visit the website. You can limit cookies through your browser settings or use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. We do not send inquiry field contents to Google Analytics. Our analytics setup disables advertising personalization and Google signals.

Retention and protection

We keep information for as long as needed to handle the inquiry or meet applicable business and legal obligations, and review it for deletion when it is no longer needed. Recovery copies can remain after working copies are deleted and are considered separately in disposal planning. We use safeguards appropriate to the information and its use.

Questions and your rights

Contact the Person responsible for the protection of personal information at info@taitlabs.com to ask about our practices, request access or correction, request a portable copy where applicable, withdraw consent to optional uses, or raise a concern. We may verify your identity and will explain applicable limits on a request. This role oversees access, retention reviews and the handling of privacy complaints and incidents. We review our practices when they change and investigate concerns brought to us.
